How do I import my portfolio?

Go to the Portfolio page and click "Import from Google Sheets". You'll need to share your Google Sheet with our service. Alternatively, you can manually add holdings by clicking "Add Position" and entering the ticker, quantity, and buy price.

Why is my portfolio P&L not updating?

Portfolio prices are updated daily from Yahoo Finance. If prices seem stale, check the "Last Updated" timestamp on the Portfolio page. You can also manually trigger a price refresh from the Admin Panel. Note that prices update only during market hours.

How does the quarterly results tracking work?

We automatically monitor BSE and NSE announcements for quarterly results. When a result is announced, our system fetches the detailed data and stores it in our database. You can view all results on the Company Insights page. The Results Admin page shows the status of each stock's result fetch process.

What is the PEAD Scanner?

PEAD (Post-Earnings Announcement Drift) is a phenomenon where stock prices continue to move in the direction of an earnings surprise for weeks or months after the announcement. Our scanner identifies stocks that have recently reported strong or weak results and are showing continued price momentum, helping you catch these drift opportunities.

How do alerts work?

You can set up alerts for specific stocks on the Alerts page. We support price-based alerts (above/below a target price), anchor date breach alerts, and result announcement alerts. Alerts are checked periodically and you'll be notified when conditions are met.

Why is some stock data missing?

Data availability depends on our sources. Yahoo Finance may not have data for all Indian stocks, especially newly listed or SME/BL segment stocks. Our results data covers most NSE/BSE listed companies but may not have data for very small caps. If data is missing, try the ticker with ".NS" (NSE) or ".BO" (BSE) suffix.

Can I export my portfolio data?

Yes. On the Portfolio page, you can export your holdings and transactions as a CSV file. This includes all positions, buy/sell history, and current P&L calculations.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use OAuth2 for authentication, encrypt data in transit using TLS, and implement strict access controls. Your portfolio data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database and is never shared with third parties. Read our full Privacy Policy for more details.

Troubleshooting

Page not loading: Try hard-refreshing your browser (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) to clear cached files.
Login issues: Clear your browser cookies for the site and try logging in again. Ensure your Google account is active.
Stale data: Check the System Health page to see if all services are running. If a service is down, data updates may be delayed.
Missing quarterly results: Check the Results Admin page to see if the stock is in the retry queue or dead letter queue.
Alerts not firing: Verify that the alert conditions are still valid and that the alert-service is running (check Health page).
